Goals and qualifying procedures

Representing the country on the international scene has been my objective since I started racing. Throughout the racing season, the world cup has different periods. Before the beginning of each period, the national body (Nordiq Canada) will select the domestic cup point leaders to join the world cup team. This is why we have a domestic circuit throughout the year, where we can cumulate points. This season, the world cup team will be qualified through the Olympic Trials in Prince George (Dec 13-16).The domestic race calendar listed previously is a combination of races in both the American AND Canadian circuits. I will be competing in both as there are gaps in both schedules, as well as more competitive races in either or country on a given weekend.At the end of the year, world cup finals will be held in Lake Placid (NY). When the world cup is in North-America, both Canada and the USA are entitled to bigger teams as more of their athletes can take the starting line. For this event, the cumulative FIS point list will be considered for filling the spots available after the world cup team. There are spots for 12 athletes to race as opposed to the regular 5 spots.The following list is comprised of the international trips that I can attempt to qualify for during this season.
